Perform software development and programming to create new features and enhance functionality on a mission critical platform. Adapt and extend existing re-usable components and libraries. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency event driven multi threaded applications using Core Java.
• Knowledge of industry standard Data structures, design patterns, algorithms.
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed real-time systems architecture and implementations.
• Knowledge of Messaging technologies (Kafka, zmq) and data serialization (google protobuf).
• Experience with internal working of Java platform, including memory management, compiler optimizations, etc.
• Experience using J2EE technologies like Spring, Servlets, JSP (backend) and CSS, Bootstrap (User interface front end).
• Experience using in memory data structure stores eg Redis.
• Experience with continuous integration practices using tools like Jenkins, Stash, Bamboo.

• Proficient in Change control (SVN), GIT, Issue/Project/Bug tracking System (Jira).
• Experience with Relational database development using Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
• Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a directly related field.
• 3-5years of Core Java development experience.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with Core Java, multithreading.

• Analyze business requirements and provide best solutions for security remediation requirements of Applications.
• Develop SSIS packages required to load data from upstream systems.
• Create SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers& Complex queries.
• Control source code versions, code baseline and branches using TFS.
• Manage technical challenges and communicate to project manager any risks associated with the development and mentor development team through the technical challenges.
• Identify inefficiencies in current databases and investigate solutions.
• Manage the Dev, QA, Staging and Production release deployments.
• Working in a collaborative development environment, providing assistance & technical guidance to fellow team members.
• Analyze input stream files and outbound files which integrate upstream and downstream systems.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fields.

• Manage in-depth server audits and assessments to proactively identify risks in customer’s infrastructure, maintain and improve availability, performance and security.
• Provide advanced system administration, operational support and problem resolution for a large complex Unix/Linux computing environment, including both virtualized and physical servers.
• Use change management process.
• Review and evaluate virtual and physical server performance and capacity.
• Work with the different teams (development & Quality Analyst ) to resolve any web logic domain and environment related issue.
• Evaluate new updates for weblogic 10 and make recommendations to ensure compatibility and effectiveness
• Drive resolution and root cause analysis of the most business critical and complex incidents and involvement in multiplatform technical emergency response team.
• Forecast system demands and recommends upgrades, expansions and reconfigurations.
• Provide technical expertise in UNIX/Linux based enterprise solutions to internal and external parties
• Perform computing environment build-outs, site setup, user training, hardware/software installation, maintenance and support and documentation of operating procedures and processes.
• Participate in and be ready to build non-standard but effective solutions in order to override existing technical challenges.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, takes appropriate corrective action and/or interact with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support, server recovery, and troubleshooting functions.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management with 1-2 years of experience.
• Management of processes and debugging.
• Experience in performance optimization and capacity planning and management
• Proven expertise with experience in administration of Unix and Linux environments.
• Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, Unix shells and standard utilities, and common Unix/Linux security tools

• Develop and maintain state health services web application which handles health claims and provides claim related information to the participants.
• Develop and support new modules and enhancements .
• Work closely with the state representatives and SME’s for developing new modules of the application and support existing applications parallel.
• Work and Establish CI/CD integration to deploy the application using Hudson.
• Research and implement cross browser compatibility for the application to make it compatible from IE 7 to all modern browsers.
• Establish a base framework for transaction management using Hibernate. Lead the effort for component design, development and integration with the existing modules.
• Create portals using WebSphere Portal Toolkit and deployed them on the WebSphere Portal Server.
• Establish and maintain all stages of WebSphere Administration like Installation, Configuration, Deployment, Scripting, Migration and Trouble shooting.
• Work and design Front-side of the website like embedded graphics, and interactive documents.
• Implement fortify for tracking application security related issues and fixed them before the damage is done.
• Work and fix all the issues that are found in testing.
• Write the codes for all the development and issues fixed to maintain the code standards.
• Document all the changes made with pre-implementation and post implementation.
• Establish and document code standards and procedures.
• Establish, maintain and modify databases for development and testing using Db visualizer 9.0.
